As part of the inaugural Fingal Poetry Festival,

due to take place in Skerries from September 4th – 6th,

we are delighted to announce the Fingal Poetry Prize,

to be judged by the esteemed poet and writer, Mary O’Donnell.

Closes June 30th

Winner receives Euro 500;
2^nd and 3^{rd: E}uro 300 and 200.

Five additional shortlisted poets will also be invited to read

at an awards ceremony in Skerries; reading fee, Euro 100 each.

If Covid-19 restrictions are still in place in September,

we will be running an alternative, online version of all events

In these difficult, uncertain times, when we find ourselves turning towards

all that sustains us inwardly, poetry has never been so essential
